Just before Christmas 2015, I was discussing  potential fundraising ideas with my good friends Ed, Pete and Dani. Ed insisted that my initial proposal of periodising the challenge to do 21.1km’s worth of 5km’s in January, 10km’s in February and then build up to 1/2 marathon in March would inspire no-one to sponsor me. We decided that a half-marathon per week for 52 weeks would be stupid enough for people to get behind…. so here is the schedule….
